Dream Series!

I first remember trying to create “art” when I was about six years old. My favorite classes in school were art and science. I studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design Architecture Art and Planning in the 1980’s, earning a BFA in 1987.

I was experimenting by “painting with light” on film through the camera lens. I made my “paint brushes” by cutting out colored gel sheets to fit over my flashlight and my camera flash. I went out with an accomplice on dark overcast moonless nights to paint in the night air with my “brushes” and I captured my “brushstrokes” with multiple exposures on the 35mm film in my trusty Canon AT-1 SLR Camera. I created “Dream Series!” just because I was really enjoying what I was doing. Truly art for art’s sake!

The original artwork consists of still photographs, which I scanned and dissected with Photoshop and then recombined using Premier Pro to create these new digital video artwork NFTs!
